My name is Mici, I am a mom of two, living in Budapest, Hungary. I always loved to knit. I have learnt it from my mother when I was little. She was tiredlessly teaching me how to knit the different stitches and I remember sitting next to her with chunky yarn and huge needles in my hands trying to follow her instructions. She was quite efficient as I was knitting sweaters for my cousins at the age of ten.

I was carrying my projects everywhere with me, I knitted in the breaks between classes in school, after school and during holidays. I was the “weird girl with the knitting needles”, I guess…

Anyway, my obsession for knitting haven’t left me ever since, so here am I, still carrying project bags around everywhere I go, knitting all the things that come my way. The only difference is that I am now expanding my skills and learning how to design and write knit patterns.

I started to sell my knitwear patterns and I opened an online shop for my handmade pieces in 2017 but in 2019 life happened and I had to put my small business aside to be able to sort family related things out. In 2021 I began to rebuild my business. I started by shutting down my online shop for handmade pieces completely and concentrating more on my blog and knitwear patterns. I also started my YouTube channel where I upload tutorials for beginners (or anyone who needs a hand) to help them with the different technics I use in my patterns.
